Once you get to the opening screen/menu, go to the nation selection screen. At this point, what should happen is that the game will create a new cache file specifically for Ultimate (You'll most likely see a picture of a pyramid and something at the bottom saying "Loading Quad #" or something similar). Make sure to check off the mod in the box when the little menu appears to start the game, then proceed to run Vicky 2. After extracting the mod, simply start up the game.
After you have downloaded the mod again, proceed to o the following):Įxtract the Victoria Ultimate mod into (Steam/steamapps/common/Victoria II/mods. (For this step I recommend using a newly-download version of the mod, not the one you already have. Play as any random nation for a few seconds (just let 2-3 days go by in-game), save, then exit the game. The game will load up and create a cache folder in the main Victoria 2 Folder and the documents folder as well. Also, delete any other cache files for any other mods in the Documents folder.
Ok, well try this (and don't complain until you've done everything I said :D):ĭelete everything INSIDE of (Steam/steamapps/common/Victoria II/maps/cache), then delete all cache files in (Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria II/maps).
